Anna Zaitseva is a director and screenwriter; her films and TV series have received 26 awards at international festivals, including 4 for best directing and 11 for best film/series.

Master's degree graduate of the Czech Film Academy FAMU. Director and author of the idea of ​​one of the most popular teen series “No, you're stupid!” (3 sesons produced). Season 2 of “No, you're stupid!” received five international awards, including the main prize “Best series” at the oldest web series festival in Germany “dieSeriale” in 2022,  Best Directing award at the largest and oldest American web series festival LAWEBFEST 2022, and 27 nominations at various international festivals. Seasons 1-2 collected more than 60 million views. Season 3 was released as part of Premier Originals.

Anna is director and scriptwriter of the first Russian teen dramedy about interethnic relations, “Sasha counters!”, filmed with the support of IRI, released on streamimg channel Premier in November 2023.

Anna's feature thriller-horror “#BLUE_WHALE” produced by Bazelevs, was premiered at the largest international genre film festivals “Fantasía” and officially selected for “Los Angeles Scream fest”,  free spirit competition program of the “Warsaw International Film Festival”,  nominated in “dark matters” section at the Austin Film Festival 2022 (USA), it is a winner of awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay at the LA Indie Film Festival, Best Foreign Director at the Night of Horror Film Festival, Best Foreign Film at the Bogota Horror Film festival (Colombia 2023) and more. The film was sold for distribution to Germany, Italy, Hungary, India, Korea,  it was released in Vietnam and throughout Latin America in December 2023-January 2024 under the title “El Juego de la Muerte” (The Deadly a game).

Her criminal comedy 10 episodes show “Hero on Call” was premiered in official selection of the “Pilot” festival. Her short film "No you're stupid!" (Sama dura!) is the most popular Russian short film with a record amount of views of 36 millions on YouTube . The popularuty of the short film led to production of the 3 seasons of the series based on the short fim with the same title.

Anna Zaitseva was born in 1985 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the family of a director and actress. In 2006 she graduated from the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics. In 2014, she completed her master's degree in film directing at the Czech Film Academy FAMU, under mentorship of the multiple winner of prestigious film awards, Macedonian-Czech director Ivo Trekov.
